Job Summary

This role focuses on utilizing advanced imaging techniques to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge and skills in ultrasound technology, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures under the direction of a physician or radiologist.
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to provide detailed images of internal body structures.
  • Assist radiologists in interpreting ultrasound images and providing detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or two-year certificate program in ultrasound technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification within one year of hire.
  • Two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist (preferred).
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and its applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in OB/GYN, small parts, venous, carotid, abdominal ultrasounds, and procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.
