Key Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is tasked with executing a range of warehousing functions that necessitate a thorough comprehension of the storage strategy in place. This role is pivotal in orchestrating and strategizing tasks to uphold optimal performance in storage, shipping, receiving, sanitation, and administrative operations. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to mentor, train, and assess team members while ensuring the upkeep of organizational assets.

Core Duties Include:

  • Conducting general inventory checks, validating materials against receiving documentation, identifying and reporting discrepancies and visible damages, directing materials to designated storage areas, and efficiently organizing, stacking, or palletizing items in line with established storage protocols.
  • Constructing and repairing wooden shipping crates utilizing various electric and pneumatic hand tools, including saws, drills, nail guns, and staplers. Preparing crates for shipping or storage through wrapping and packing.
  • Operating diverse material handling machinery, such as forklifts and mechanized warehouse equipment, while managing high-density storage.
  • Personnel involved in the handling of lithium battery shipments must possess and maintain the IATA Non-Radioactive Dangerous Goods Certification.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Active Secret Clearance.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
