At National Press Club, we are seeking a Banquet Manager to oversee banquet operations across rotating shifts. As the Manager on Duty, you will direct up to 25 staff during live events, ensuring excellent service, efficient execution, and a seamless experience for guests and clients.
This hands-on management role involves executing setups, service flow, and transitions based on event blueprints (BEOs). You will supervise, coach, and motivate banquet staff, resolve client concerns and event issues quickly, and maintain cleanliness and safety of event spaces.
We require candidates with 2–3 years of banquet/hospitality management experience, including experience leading live events and large service teams. Key qualifications include excellent organizational and multitasking skills, professional diplomatic communication, and strong knowledge of setups, equipment, and AV basics.
