POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Clinical Observation Nurse 2 is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients within a dynamic healthcare environment, representing a unique opportunity within an Advanced Community Healthcare System.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and executes care plans to meet anticipated patient outcomes.
- Provides nursing services while assuming leadership and educational roles.
- Facilitates coordinated care and advocates for health and safety through patient education.
- Assesses patient progress towards goals utilizing contemporary nursing practices and evidence-based research.
- Exhibits leadership within the nursing practice environment and actively participates in enhancing nursing quality and collaborative decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory from recognized organizations.
- Newly practicing RNs will be enrolled in the RN Residency Program.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows, are essential.
