About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at Schomp Automotive Group. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for leading our service department and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of service technicians to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance of luxury vehicles.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to set goals and objectives for the service department.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor and parts expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
  • Provide training and coaching to service technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the service department is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in an automotive repair facility, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
