Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS & Benefits Analyst to join our team at PotlatchDeltic. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and maintaining Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications, including time & attendance, as well as managing the daily operation of the company's benefits plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • HRIS Administration
    • Assist in managing the daily administration and maintenance of the firm's defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, ensuring that plans follow government regulations.
    • Respond to inquiries and employee issues regarding retirement plans.
    • Act as point contact for defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plan audits, working closely with Sr Benefits Manager to provide actuaries and auditors with information and reports (includes internal, plan and financial audits).
  • Benefits Administration
    • Validation and notification of missing SSN and dependent eligibility compliance in H&W Plans.
    • Vendor premium and support reconciliation.
    • Monthly New Hire and Life Event validation for HRA/HSA.
    • Bi-weekly HSA/FSA employee funding validation.
    • Quarterly HSA/FSA employer funding validation.
    • Management of GVUL Management Plan, including review of new enrollments, premiums and files sent to payroll.
    • Review and authorize bi-weekly 401k funding files.
    • Review and manage 401k deduction limits for management team.
    • Manage UKG extract of non-qualified plan enrollment data and contribution data and submit data to non-qualified plan vendor.
    • Review quarterly 401k Loan Default files and make any necessary payroll updates.
    • Monitor weekly HSA validation reports and returned fund reports.
    • Update employee benefits page and plan materials within vendor and intranet.
    • Annual and weekly review, upload, and validation of open enrollment benefits into the payroll system.
  • Records and Reports
    • Benefit survey submissions.
    • Complete monthly ACA reporting, including part-time employee eligibility.
    • Lead in annual 1095-C form preparation and review.
    • Monthly reporting of Health Claims.
    • Monthly invoice coding and reconciliation.
    • Develop and delivery of reports, including analyzing and troubleshooting for accuracy to support customers and projects.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field or bachelor's degree in human resources, business or accounting preferred.
    • Minimum of three (3) years experienced required.
    • Proficient in use of personal computers including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Detail-oriented and ability to process information in a discreet manner to ensure the confidentiality of personnel files, information, and the integrity of HRIS data.
    • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
    • Experience with UltiPro/UKG or other enterprise resource plan (ERP) system a plus.
    • Performs tasks and projects with little supervision or guidance.
    • Desire to learn and explore new key accountabilities.
    • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, etc.
    • Ability to interact with a diverse user base in a competent and professional manner.
    • Ability to help coordinate and manage system upgrades across a broad geographical base.
    • Project and time management skills.
    • Presentation and training skills.
