About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Step Down Unit team at St. Jude Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a talented group of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Step Down Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
