Job Summary

Park Vista CoreCare V is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
  • Mobility Support: Provide assistance with mobility and escort residents as needed.
  • Meal Service: Assist with meal service in the dining room, taking orders, serving meals, and clearing tables.
  • Activity Coordination: Organize and coordinate activities for residents to meet their daily personal activity needs.
  • Unit Maintenance: Maintain the resident's unit by completing tasks such as resident personal laundry, changing bed linens, making beds, light housekeeping, including dishes, cleaning out refrigerators, and taking out trash.
  • Excursions and Activities: Accompany residents on excursions or walks and spend time with them doing activities they enjoy.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of caregiving experience, preferably in an Assisted Living or healthcare center, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a healthcare and CCRC environment, knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques, ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, and high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Must have and maintain current First Aid card and must have or be able to attain Food Handlers card.
