We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As an Echo Tech II, you will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient echocardiography procedures, assisting with stress echocardiography and transesophageal echo procedures, and contributing to the development of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform adult 2-D, M-Mode, pulsed, continuous, and color doppler echocardiograms per policy and procedure.
- Provide timely call coverage per department standard per policy and procedure.
- Perform adult stress echo per policy and procedure.
- Perform adult transesophageal echo per policy and procedure.
- Document routine and exceptional information relevant to testing.
- Archives and retrieves study images.
- 1 year of experience in hospital-based Doppler echocardiography, transesophageal, and transesophageal echocardiography.
- Must demonstrate imaging skills.
- Associate's degree with one year relevant experience.
- Active ARDMS or CCI Echo registry status.
- Graduate from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
- Computer application aptitude.
- BLS Certified.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
- 3 years of experience.
- Experience in telemedicine transmissions.
