About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including performing patient treatment from start to finish and handling daily operations between patient and dialysis machine.
  • Conduct basic water testing related tasks.
  • Perform dialysis required laboratory procedures and quality control, including specimen collection, blood sugar testing, completion of the laboratory request form, and proper labeling of the specimen collected.
  • Respond to machine alarms according to established procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year recent experience as a Dialysis Technician, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomist, Surgical Technician, First Responder, EMT, ED Tech, or LPN required.
  • CMS recognized dialysis technician certification.
  • Current BCLS certification.
