Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Los Gatos, California area

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related degree
  • Possession of California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Experience in an educational setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments alongside Speech Language Pathologists
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by Speech Language Pathologists to address patient needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' communication abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques
