Job Description

The DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Spinal Cord Injury unit. As a member of our Patient Care Services Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assess patient needs and develop strategies to promote independence and mobility.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
