Job Summary

DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan is a leading provider of rehabilitation services, specializing in spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, amputee, orthopedics, and catastrophic injury care. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with spinal cord injuries, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
  • Participate in shared decision-making activities and report directly to senior unit management.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a school of nursing required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
