Senior Engineering Program Manager, Machine Learning

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Program Manager to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving highly cross-functional projects dependent on innovative machine learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status.
- Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.
- Drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements around a privacy-focused approach to data collection and evaluation vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products.
- Work with instrumentation, data science, and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions.
- Work with dynamic cross-functional engineering teams to optimize and lead measurement and evaluations efforts.
- Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection.
- Work with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in driving large-scale programs building machine learning-powered products.
- Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
- Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience.
- Capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
Additional RequirementsBase pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
