The Paper Store is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide world-class service to customers, ensuring a unique and memorable shopping experience.
- Sales Growth: Achieve sales goals by building and inspiring high-performing teams, managing payroll, and executing visual presentation standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Store Operations: Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Marketing and Promotions: Champion new product launches, maintain awareness of current promotions, and ensure accurate processing at the point of sale.
- Experience: Previous experience in specialty retail, preferably in a leadership role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work well in a team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
