We are seeking a dedicated and experienced early childhood educator to oversee activities and programs for children aged 3 to 5 years.

A Senior Early Childhood Educator at our facility will act as a role model for our preschoolers, fostering a nurturing, supportive, and welcoming atmosphere, collaborating closely with the Lead Toddler Educator.

This role involves working in partnership with fellow preschool educators to create an enriching and stimulating environment, developing engaging lessons for our young learners.

We are looking for a creative, collaborative educator who is passionate about working with children and their families. The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about professional growth within a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and interactive learning environment where children can thrive.
  • Serving as a role model to inspire a passion for learning in young minds.
  • Regularly communicating with parents to share updates on their children's progress and experiences through various channels.
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues to foster an inviting atmosphere where play and learning seamlessly integrate.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a Birth - 2 NY State Certification
    • OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with two years of experience in a licensed preschool setting
    • OR
  • 90 or more college credits towards a Bachelor's in early childhood education with one year of experience in a licensed preschool setting while completing your degree.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for this position.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
