Job Summary

As a Data Engineer at Compunnel, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. You will work closely with the business to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. This role requires a strong understanding of data processing technologies such as Spark, Scala, and Hadoop, as well as experience with SQL and database management. You will also have the opportunity to work with cloud storage services like S3 and RDS, and develop ETL code using Python. Additionally, you will have experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git, and a strong understanding of scheduling tools. You will be responsible for listening to questions from the business and finding answers, and will work closely with the team to ensure that data is accurate and reliable.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong understanding of data processing technologies such as Spark, Scala, and Hadoop
• Experience with SQL and database management
• Experience with cloud storage services like S3 and RDS
• Experience with ETL code development using Python
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Strong understanding of scheduling tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
