We are seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist to join our team at Carlsbad Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
- Operate CT systems, including processing and maintenance, to ensure optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast media procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Licensure in the state of New Mexico.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
This is a full-time position with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with no call shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced medical environment and be proficient in both CT and X-ray imaging.
