We are seeking an experienced Chief Radiologist to lead our Radiology team at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiology, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of radiology professionals, including physicians, technologists, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement radiology operations, including fiscal, budgeting, and compliance.
- Provide clinical oversight of radiology services, including image interpretation and consultation.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current, active, and unencumbered US State Medical License.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $380,000 to $400,000.
- Biennial longevity pay increases.
- Annual performance pay bonus up to $15,000.
- Robust benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Retirement plans, including Federal Employee Retirement System (DB) and Thrift Savings Plan (DC).
