Full-Time Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Brooklyn, NY

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care services to individuals and families, develop and manage patient care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. This is a full-time opportunity, with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatments
• Develop and manage patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and preferences
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
• Stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and best practices, incorporating evidence-based medicine into your practice
• Participate in educational activities, including teaching medical students and allied health professionals
Requirements:
• New York State Registered Nurse Licensure
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing
• BLS Certification
• 2+ years of relevant clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
