Job Summary

Child & Family Resources is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Parent Educator to join our team. As a Parent Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting families with young children, promoting healthy development, and connecting them with essential resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly home visits to families, offering guidance and support to help them navigate early childhood development.
  • Conduct family-centered assessments and goal setting, ensuring that services are culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate.
  • Develop and deliver monthly Group Connections, connecting families with outside resources and referrals.
  • Maintain a caseload of 15 families, working cohesively with teammates to ensure timely data entry and coordination of services.
Requirements
  • Minimum associate degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience working with young children 0-5 years of age and their parents.
  • Experience working with families and children who are developmentally delayed.
  • Experience with families and children with special needs.
  • Knowledge/experience in working with the AzEIP program.
  • Knowledge/experience in-home visitation and group education.
  • Knowledge/experience in typical and delayed child development.
  • Bilingual, fluent in English/Spanish required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends.
  • Must be eligible and able to obtain a Level one fingerprint card.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver's license, vehicle, and meet agency liability insurance requirements.
