Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Clinical Professor in Gerontology, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the field of geriatric medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate innovative clinical programs to enhance care and access to care for seniors.
  • Collaborate with faculty in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Population Health to develop interdisciplinary education.
  • Participate in local, national, and international geriatric associations and organizations.
  • Ambulatory patient care practice.
  • Fellow supervision, residency teaching, and precepting medical students.
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution with appropriate clinical training and experience.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine and board eligibility/board certification in Geriatric Medicine.
  • Excellent clinical skills; interest in clinical teaching.
  • Eligibility for UC Irvine Medical Center medical staff privileges required.
