Job Title: Staff Engineer

Ardurra Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Aviation Group in Cody, WY and Cheyenne, WY. As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in client contact and communication, developing construction cost estimates, and keeping project managers informed of workload and changes in project scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
  • Develop construction cost estimates for various projects
  • Keep project managers informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
  • Assist in design components of various projects, design tasks, and preparation of drawings
  • Provide information to project managers or project engineers for incorporation into specifications
  • Research design options and present options to project managers or project engineers
  • May serve as onsite project representative
  • Construction inspection and oversight
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering
  • EI/EIT Certificate required or ability to obtain within 18-months
  • 0 to 3 years' experience in the airport consulting/engineering field preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel, especially during construction season
