Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our team at the University of Wyoming. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to support the university's facilities and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems related to mechanical, environmental, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including design, construction, and testing.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Prepare and review design and construction documents, including shop drawings and change orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in facilities engineering or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passed the FE exam.
  • Experience with IBC (International Building Code).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.
