Job Title: Healthcare Superintendent

Lemoine, a Great Place to Work-Certified company, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent in the New Orleans, LA area. The successful candidate will manage and control assigned projects, overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safe Work Practices: Review site-specific safety plans in Pre-Installation Meetings and lead weekly on-site safety meetings to monitor high-risk areas.
  • Implement QA/QC Procedures: Develop and enforce quality control procedures for non-conforming work, ensuring documentation, communication, and correction of any issues.
  • Oversee Project Construction: Manage the construction of projects with annual revenues between $15 million and $40 million, ensuring timely completion and quality work.
  • Monitor Project Cost Summary Reports: Regularly review monthly reports to identify variances between estimated and actual job costs, and develop recovery plans as needed.
  • Develop Project Schedules: Create preliminary schedules, milestones, and critical material deliveries based on the Phased Sequencing Plan.
  • Provide Leadership and Guidance: Supervise Assistant Superintendents, LEAP, Craft personnel, and Field Staff assigned to the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in field supervisory roles for commercial general contractors or subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades.
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial construction practices.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs.
  • Proven skills in math, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:

The physical and mental demands of this position require the ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasional lifting and/or moving of 50 pounds is required.
