Join the dedicated team at NYU Langone Health System as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist. This role presents an excellent opportunity to operate advanced imaging technology and generate high-quality diagnostic images for evaluation by Radiologists.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize radiologic equipment to capture precise images in accordance with established departmental protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and immobilization techniques are employed.
  • Implement effective radiation safety measures and monitor exposure levels.
  • Leverage the PACS system for the interpretation of images by Radiologists.
  • Ensure that facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained in line with infection control standards.
  • Mentor and oversee Radiography students during their clinical training.
  • Operate the Carm device for pain management imaging procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology or Imaging Services program is necessary.
  • Possession of a current New York State Radiologic Technician license or a temporary permit for new graduates.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
