We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to take diagnostic images of specific body areas
  • Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists
  • Prepare and position patients properly for exams
  • Ensure quality review of images and adherence to departmental SOP
  • Practice safety protocols to ensure patient and employee safety

Requirements:

  • Technical Diploma in Radiology or Imaging Services
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Temp Permit
  • ARRT Advanced Certification in MRI within 180 days of hire
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or related field
  • Years of experience as an MRI technologist or training
