Position Overview: The Full Time Virtual Beauty Consultant plays a crucial role in enhancing the online shopping experience and brand representation by conducting virtual consultations and addressing customer inquiries across various online engagement platforms including chat, text, social media, and video for multiple brands. Inquiries may encompass questions regarding product usage, recommendations, demonstrations, and styling advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers online by providing personalized product recommendation consultations and responding to product-related inquiries through live chat, text chat, video chat, virtual selling, and social media.
- Consistently meet daily service quality standards and productivity targets.
- Engage with multiple customers simultaneously via chat, delivering friendly, personalized, and informative recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Encourage additional product purchases through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Stay informed about all website content, features, promotions, and inventory issues to accurately inform and recommend products to customers.
- Participate in monthly team conference calls.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of multi-brand products and selling techniques by completing all required brand education training.
- Collaborate with other members of the Customer Service team, Call Center representatives, and Consumer Communications department to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Stay updated with interdepartmental communications, policies, and company directives.
- Report any errors or issues promptly.
You will be provided with a corporate laptop for use during employment. You will need to download the ELC Secure Authentication app on a personal mobile device to access an @Estee email address and Office 365 Teams for secure internal communications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of brand selling experience at the retail level.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language and proper grammar.
- Extensive knowledge of skincare and makeup, along with artistry skills.
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service and selling abilities.
- Comfortable and confident in front of the camera while consulting with customers one-on-one.
- A genuine passion for serving and connecting with customers to enhance their online shopping experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a quiet home environment.
- Thrives in a fast-paced setting and capable of assisting multiple customers simultaneously.
- Proficient with technology and skilled in Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and familiar with various Internet browsers and social media platforms.
- Willingness to work a rotating weekly schedule that includes various days and shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to adjust to a maximum of 40 hours per week based on business needs.
- Experience with social media and multi-brand environments is preferred but not required.
- Adaptable to change, new technologies, and processes.
