Position Overview:
A prominent Healthcare organization is seeking a dynamic Patient Care Support Specialist to join their Enterprise Service Desk team.
On a daily basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to Service Desk inquiries via phone, email, and automated request systems.
In addition, the Patient Care Support Specialist will deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse group of users, including healthcare professionals and administrative staff, while effectively managing and escalating issues as necessary.
The organization is eager to train this individual to advance to a level 2/3 systems analyst position and provide education on various clinical and business applications.
In discussions with the hiring manager, the Patient Care Support Specialist will oversee level 1 service requests from initiation to resolution:- Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve user requests
- Respond to calls or email inquiries within established service level agreements
- Triage requests to ensure accurate transfers and escalations
- Monitor open tickets, track progress, and close tickets upon resolution
- Adhere to escalation and paging protocols
- Assist with issues related to password resets, MS Office, and Windows.
- Identify and document problems for the problem management process
Required Skills:

Preferred Skills:
