Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of a high-volume dining location, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of temporary and student employees, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the food service management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu launches.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as university policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a lead or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience cooking or in a related field.
  • Previous experience in a lead role in food service, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and software applications, such as inventory management systems.
