Job Title: Senior Engineer, Innovation Programs Group

Job Summary:

Centric Software Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Innovation Programs Group. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and sales by identifying and addressing gaps in our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Python, Node.js, Java, and modern programming languages.
  • Work with Generative AI to build and iterate rapid prototypes.
  • Transition prototypes to production and scale to the first customers, refining configurations as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features.
  • Explore and integrate new technologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality through reviews and testing.
  • Produce detailed documentation and technical specifications.
  • Use Docker, AWS, and Azure for deploying solutions.
  • Create presentable UI from scratch for early-stage prototypes.
  • Generate synthetic data for prototype demos.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, and modern programming languages.
  • Experience with AI/ML mechanisms and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-native development.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, RAG, vector embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Exposure to Stable Diffusion, LLMs, and LLM agents.
  • Ability to design presentable UI from scratch for early-stage prototypes.
  • Skill in generating synthetic data for impressive and meaningful prototype demos.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $140,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
