Job Overview

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC is in search of a Practice Administrator. This position is responsible for providing operational assistance to Medical Directors and Emergency Room Physicians, as well as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) affiliated with our healthcare partners. The role involves a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence at designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to this role, and additional tasks may be assigned:

  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with Medical Directors, Administration, Managers, and Clinical staff.
  • Oversee the timely creation and management of clinician schedules, ensuring all shifts are adequately filled and addressing any last-minute changes efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support to the department, facilitating connections with relevant personnel for additional assistance as needed.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including agendas, minutes, and scheduling. Manage clinician communications and participate in educational and quality improvement events.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing employee records.
  • Track and report on clinical and operational metrics, creating reports as necessary.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of operational strategies and planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various IES departments such as Payroll, HR, and Recruiting to ensure seamless processes.
  • Facilitate orientation and training for new hires, ensuring all onboarding procedures are completed.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical office management or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in scheduling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Physical Demands

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to see at various distances and maintain focus.
  • Regular communication and auditory skills.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting, with the ability to navigate through hospital environments.
  • Capability to perform standard office tasks, including prolonged computer use and lifting of light office supplies.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by:

  • A typical schedule of Monday to Friday.
  • A hybrid work model with onsite responsibilities in a healthcare office setting.
  • A generally low noise level.
Travel Requirements

Some travel to other healthcare facilities and offsite training may be necessary based on business needs.
