Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Assist with anesthesia induction and prepare patients for local anesthesia as needed.
  • Accurately document and report patient care to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all surgical specialties and equipment to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Participate in ongoing staff and self-development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse preferred.
