About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pi Coordinator Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the manager/director of Performance Improvement to coordinate, integrate, and implement organization-wide performance improvement activities.
  • Assist in chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures, and quality outcomes studies.
  • Develop and implement staff education programs on core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state/federal regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred).
  • State RN licensure or certification in a healthcare field (preferred).
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Experience in reviewing charts for care issues.
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases, directions, and follow-through.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with Medical Staff communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and professional work ethics.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and typing.
