Nutrition Specialist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. As a key member of our WIC clinic, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition education and counseling to our clients.

We are looking for a Registered Dietitian with a passion for community nutrition and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our clients.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to clients, including individual and group sessions
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized plans to meet the needs of our clients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in community nutrition

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition from an accredited university
• Completed an accredited dietetic internship program or Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics
• 7 hours of HIV/AIDS course
• WA State Registration and Certification for Dietitian or RD/CD eligible
• Medical Assistant-Registered Certification required for Hemoglobin testing

• Experience in community nutrition setting with an interest in weight management, diabetes education, and pediatric nutrition
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in outpatient or similar nutrition setting
• Current Adult/Pediatric CPR certification
