About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at WFF Facility Services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of electrical power, emergency lighting, and power circuitry across our campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including power supply wiring and conduit.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, such as switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies.
  • Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
  • Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Inspect systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Knowledge and competency of building automation control systems, emergency generators, and cafeteria equipment.
  • Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes.
  • Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop other Facility Apprentices.
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities.
  • Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders.
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and HES standards.
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical.
  • Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform advanced electrical calculations.
  • Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications required by our client.
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation.
  • Ability to communicate in clear, concise language and possess interpersonal skills promoting HES core values and principles.
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism.
  • Drug-free at all times.
  • Valid and current Journeyman (or Master) Electrician License within the state.
  • Above-average computer skills.
  • Must be willing to work in high places and maintain 'work at heights' certifications.
  • MUST have tools of the trade.
  • OSHA10 Construction Safety and Health preferred.
  • MUST have a valid driver's license.
  • MUST have reliable transportation (car or truck).
