Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance operations necessary to operate the park effectively and safely. This includes hiring, training, and leading technicians in all areas of maintenance, including ride inspections, ride repairs, water quality, and pool cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and schedule seasonal and full-time maintenance department staff.
  • Oversee water quality and assign duties to maintain clean and safe pools.
  • Handle, coordinate, and lead capex projects with vendors.
  • Ensure safety and compliance laws and uphold SNHD/Clark County requirements.
  • Create department budget with assistance from the Regional Maintenance Director.
  • Maintain an asset inventory list and ensure a preventive maintenance program to prevent assets from failing.
Requirements
  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Possible heavy workloads: exerting up to 100 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching involved.
  • Be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • May be required to be exposed to all types of weather.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
