About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Paramedic to join our team at Halifax Health. As a key member of our emergency services team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Paramedic, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing patient care in accordance with established standards and policies
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans to meet individual needs
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies
  • Providing education and support to patients and families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An associate's degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
  • Current Paramedic Certification in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support Provider certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider certification
  • Previous patient care experience and/or technical education in a health-related field (preferred)
