About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Nova Medical Centers. As a Physical Therapist Assistant PRN, you will provide physical therapy services as assigned and directed under the supervision of a physical therapist, concurrent with our physical therapy treatment philosophy.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Developing knowledge of evidence-based practice and demonstrating clinical knowledge of physical therapy services.
  • Performing assigned responsibilities from supervising physical therapist that are consistent with safe, legal, and ethical physical therapy practice.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduated from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or the ability to obtain.
  • CPR Certified or the ability to obtain.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
