Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our innovative IT Infrastructure Team at Packsize, LLC. Our company is dedicated to revolutionizing packaging solutions through Right-sized Packaging On Demand systems, software, and services. As a rapidly growing technology firm, we are committed to sustainability and enhancing customer satisfaction while minimizing environmental impact.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Terraform to manage resources as code, ensuring scalability and reusability across various environments.
  • Provision and configure Azure resources, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage solutions, and databases, adhering to best practices and security protocols.
  • Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline CI/CD processes, facilitating efficient deployment of Azure resources.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of Azure deployments, making necessary adjustments to Terraform configurations as infrastructure needs evolve.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for Terraform setups and deployment methodologies, providing guidance and training to team members on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards during all infrastructure deployments, implementing necessary controls and audits within Terraform configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Cloud Systems Engineer, with a focus on designing and managing cloud solutions.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Identity, and Governance.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, and familiar with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to Azure infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices in cloud environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks is beneficial.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • ITIL knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
