Job Summary

RDSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Systems Engineer to join their team in North Kingstown, RI. The successful candidate will provide technical support for submarine torpedo operation, hardware, and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.
  • Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts, and solutions.
  • Interface with Government and Navy representatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated submarine and torpedo subject matter experience.
  • Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware, and software.
  • Able to interact with high-level fleet personnel.
  • Perform system integration tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must be well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
