Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using a variety of radiographic equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures on patients, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving
  • Learn and adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiology
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License
  • CPR certification required within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Radiology certification
  • Bone Mineral Densitometry certification
