Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a Perinatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, and document patient progress.
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
Requirements
  • Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a perinatal setting preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact BLS required.
  • Current STABLE certification required.
  • Current NRP certification required.
