Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to Armenian-speaking patients, including compounding medications according to prescriptions from medical doctors.
  2. Utilize your knowledge in cancer care and oncology to assist in the management and treatment of cancer patients, advising on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team in Armenian to ensure seamless healthcare experiences.
  4. Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, discuss patient medication histories, and advise on drug selection and usage.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
  6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in pharmaceutical care, oncology, and compounding, participating in continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with a focus on compounding, cancer care, and oncology.
  • Proficiency in Armenian, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug uses, therapies, and terminology.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
