  • The pharmacy at Montrose Regional Health is a health care service that encompasses the art, practice, and profession of choosing, preparing, storing, compounding, and dispensing medicines and medical devices, as well as advising patients, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on their safe, effective, and efficient use.

About The Career:

  • As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing safe and appropriate pharmaceutical care to all patients of the hospital. You will provide centralized and decentralized oversight to patients with a wide range of disease states. Pharmaceutical care services will incorporate assessing patient needs, incorporating age and disease-specific characteristics into drug therapy and patient education, adjusting recommendations based on patient response, and offering interventions to help prevent medication adverse events.

All About You:

  • Education: To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Colorado.
  • Training & Experience: Previous experience in hospital pharmacy and/or hospital pharmacy residency (preferred), Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) (preferred).
  • Job Knowledge: Must understand the role of the Pharmacy Department in the hospital and relationships within the department and with other departments.

This position is located in Montrose, Colorado. Based on industry standards and local cost of living, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $145,000 - $165,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
