Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Position patients correctly for CT scans to ensure accurate and high-quality images
Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
Sterilize radiologic equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions to ensure accurate imaging procedures
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues

Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Active unencumbered Radiology Tech license
Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
Two years of work experience as a Radiology Tech
One year of Epic experience
Associates Degree in Radiology Technology

Skills and Abilities

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
Participates in relevant continuing education programs
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
