Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UofL Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in the medical practice, including medical assisting and X-ray.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique.
  • Prepare for and assist the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • One-year experience as a general radiographer.
  • Registered with ARRT and KY Radiation Operators Certification.
  • CPR-Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
