We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment, processing images, and preparing rooms for procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic equipment and process images to ensure high-quality scans and diagnostic information.
- Assist in the primary mission of the medical imaging department by providing excellent patient care and obtaining clinically relevant history.
- Perform clerical, scheduling, transportation, and other duties as needed to support the department.
- Participate in cross-trained modalities to maintain multi-modality clinical competency.
- Follow radiation protection protocols and regulatory compliance for DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR, and other governing agencies.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Additional certifications in nuclear medicine, sonography, or other modalities as required.
- 1+ year of experience in medical imaging, preferably in diagnostic imaging.
Memorial Health University Medical Center is a 600+ bed hospital that has provided quality healthcare services since 1955.
