Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at St Josephs Hospital – Savannah GA.

Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including sedation and reversal of sedation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Meditech EMR and be proficient in communicating with providers about patient status.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including sedation and reversal of sedation.
  • Communicate effectively with providers about patient status.
  • Operate Meditech EMR with proficiency.
  • Work 4-10 hour shifts, with 14-15 days of weeknight/call per 12 weeks, including weekends.
  • Participate in rotating holiday call.
  • Respond to calls within 30 minutes.
Requirements:
  • IR experience with sedation and reversals.
  • Comfortable giving sedation and communicating with providers about patient status.
  • Proficient in Meditech EMR.
  • Ability to work 4-10 hour shifts, with 14-15 days of weeknight/call per 12 weeks, including weekends.
  • Ability to participate in rotating holiday call.
Work Environment:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with 2 suites/labs at each facility, performing 5-10 IR cases per day on average. The unit is IR, with common diagnoses/types of patients including vascular cases.
