Role Summary

The Technology Support Specialist plays a crucial role within the Technology Team at Charles Wright Academy, serving as the primary point of contact for technical assistance among students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT principles, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring that all community members feel supported in their technological endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial point of contact for technical inquiries across the school community.
  • Diagnose and investigate issues; meticulously document, track, and oversee the resolution process to ensure timely and accurate outcomes.
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of software applications, hardware, and technological equipment.
  • Manage inventory of technological resources, facilitating the distribution and collection of equipment as required.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and students, including technology orientation sessions.
  • Help manage user accounts and access across various platforms, including Google, Microsoft, and Adobe.
  • Provide comprehensive training for hardware and software through both in-person sessions and detailed documentation.
  • Oversee technical setups for meetings and events, including audio-visual requests.
  • Collaborate with the technology team on additional functions such as data management and security.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in various positions, including extended periods at a desk, walking the campus, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
